Air: When I Look Up

If Santa Fe were a movie or a novel, the sky might be one of the main characters. Beautiful, vast, and ever-changing, New Mexico’s sky has inspired artists, inhabitants, and travelers from time immemorial for the light and life it brings to these lands. In this inaugural exhibition, nine fine artists render their expressions of our clean mountain air and the things that float, fly, or touch our turquoise skies.

These collected works from some of Northern New Mexico’s important living artists serve as a gateway to welcome you to the Land of Enchantment. This collection marks the first in a suite of quarterly exhibits celebrating the four elements: air, water, fire and earth.
